This event is hosted by 60UP C.I.C.

The First Part of the Afternoon

This will be a warm, welcoming event designed especially for women 50+ years young in the community, a space for connection, reflection and gentle creativity.

The event is opened by a poem read by Doreen McKenzie, writer of ‘The Purpose of My Life: Now, Then, and in the Future’. Guests will then enjoy tea and coffee in small table groups, with optional conversation prompts exploring life experiences, growth and the women who have shaped us. There is no pressure to speak; listening is equally valued.

At 12.30 pm, we break for a light lunch and informal conversation.

The Second Part of the Afternoon

We invite participants into a relaxed, creative reflection session, “Her Story, Our Story.” Guests can choose from simple activities such as mini collage, vision boards, or expressive drawing, supported by written prompts.

We close with an optional sharing circle and raffle, ending with a collective affirmation celebrating the continuing journey of womanhood.

There will also be a Selfie Tower available for guests to take celebratory photos together. You’re welcome to wear something that makes you feel good, a favourite outfit or a touch of colour as we mark the occasion.
